Luxury Hotel Rooms
When you’re going to London, be it to experience the fantastic museums, shop til you drop in their amazing designer shops or see a wonderful West End show you’ll definitely need more than just one day. So, because for many of us, getting to London is a big trip, finding the right kind of hotel can be vital. London is a notoriously expensive city, so if you’re on a tight budget you might feel like you need to compromise on quality when you go to the capital city- but this couldn’t be far from the truth. You can find a wide range of hotels in this beautiful city that are really comfortable and well looked after, but also healthy for your wallet!
Things like Park Lane and The Mayfair cost a pretty penny and are in the top ends of London, you can find much cheaper accommodation in the places further out of the centre. Whilst this might seem bizarre to those who know they’ll be in the centre every day for shopping or shows, there is a solution- The London Underground. All of London is connected via it, and even if you’re far out on the edges of London, a 20 minute tube journey will have you right at the heart of the city. These hotels are really lovely and if you shop around for a good deal you’ll find a beautiful hotel at half the price of what you usually pay. Some of these places have offers and discounts if you book at a certain time of year as well, so be sure to look out for those too.
It’s not just London where a luxury break in a gorgeous hotel is possible, lots of other major cities offer a fabulous range of hotels to their tourists and guests such as Leeds, Nottingham, Cambridge and many other great UK break destinations. A good bet is to find a chain of hotels, as these usually offer lower rates because they’re part of a group. This doesn’t have to mean places like Holiday Inn and Travel Lodge, however, as The Hilton is a very classy hotel that is part of a worldwide chain of great hotels. If you book the right room you have unbelievable luxury for a much cheaper price and have all the pros of a beautiful hotel of practically five star quality without the five star price tag.
So, you see, you don’t have to pay a large sum of money to relax in comfort when you visit one of the UK’s thriving cities, and you can relax in style and comfort whist knowing that you’ve saved enough money to be able to really splash out and spoil yourself when you go away- another West End show, maybe? Or a second trip to Carnaby Street maybe? All that saved money will go a long way, and then when you’ve finished with some good quality retail therapy you can go back to your classy hotel for a meal before getting ready for the next fabulous day out.
